We are looking for a high-performing New Business Regional Account Manager to drive new business growth in South East Asia across the commodities and energy ecosystem. This role is based in Singapore and will require hunting for new businesses in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Brunei by arranging client meetings, traveling to conferences and participating in market development activities.

The role is responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline and expanding Argus presence with prospective customers. The successful candidate will apply consultative and value-based selling approaches to position Argus solutions against customer business objectives and measurable commercial outcomes.

What will you be doing

Own and execute a new business growth strategy focused on acquiring new logos in assigned countries of SEA.
Identify, prospect and develop high-value opportunities through market mapping, outbound engagement, networking and industry events.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets.
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation and contract close.
Develop a deep understanding of customer business priorities, market dynamics and industry challenges.
Build relationships with stakeholders ranging from end users and commercial teams to procurement and senior executives.
Apply consultative and value-based selling techniques to communicate business value, ROI and competitive differentiation.
Develop customer-specific business cases and solutions that align Argus products and services with customer objectives.
Collaborate with Editorial, Product, Consulting, Marketing and Customer Success teams to maximize commercial outcomes.
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline.

What are we looking for in you

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, business development or new business acquisition roles.
Proven track record of winning new logos and consistently delivering against new business revenue targets.
Strong prospecting, pipeline generation and opportunity qualification skills with a demonstrated hunter and business ownership mindset.
Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and executive stakeholder management skills.
Experience selling into ASEAN and South Asian organizations; a command in one of the regional languages of ASEAN is preferred.
Experience in commodities, energy, market intelligence, analytics, information services, SaaS or subscription-based businesses is highly advantageous.

Travel

This role is based in Singapore and will require travel to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and other Asia markets for client meetings, conferences and events.

Hours

Monday through Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Earlier or later hours, or weekend hours, may be expected on occasion.
