Your Role

As an Intermediate C++ Engineer, you will:

Modify and enhance Chromium code to support a secure remote browser solution.
Collaborate with software engineers to improve browser remoting capabilities and display performance.
Develop, debug, test, and maintain high-quality C++ code following clean coding principles and software engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot complex system issues, investigate bug reports, and implement effective resolutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of browser technologies while working in an Agile development environment.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
Hands-on experience with Linux development tools, including Git, GDB, GCC/Clang, and Linux development environments.
Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience using unit testing frameworks such as GoogleTest.

Preferred Skills/expertise

Experience working with open-source browsers such as Chromium or Firefox.
Familiarity with development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
Experience working in Scrum or Agile software development environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
