The Role:

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our Operations team and support the day-to-day fund operations of the firm. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of operational activities and will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to the firm's multi-jurisdictional compliance programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Operations:

Book trades accurately and on a timely basis.
Facilitate the settlement of trades with brokers and counterparties.
Process and monitor corporate actions.
Perform daily reconciliations of portfolio positions and cash balances.
Prepare weekly and monthly NAV estimates, portfolio exposures and investor reporting.
Reconcile and book management fees, performance fees and fund expenses.
Review NAV reports prepared by the Fund Administrator.
Review subscription and redemption contract notes.
Maintain monthly operational data, including exposures, performance contributions and assets under management.
Update fund information on third-party databases and platforms.
Attend Board meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
Coordinate the opening and maintenance of broker and counterparty accounts.
Assist with annual audits and the review of financial statements.

Compliance:

Support adherence to the firm's compliance policies and procedures.
Assist with the review and updating of compliance manuals and policies.
Coordinate responses to operational due diligence requests.
Develop and manage action plans to address identified operational or compliance risks.
Perform Know Your Customer and due diligence reviews on investors.
Assist with regulatory filings, including FAR, FATCA and CRS submissions.
Prepare and submit MAS returns, forms, questionnaires and surveys.
Liaise with external service providers regarding employee training and compliance testing.
Assist with the periodic review of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment.
Maintain the Outsourcing Register and conduct due diligence on outsourced service providers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related discipline.
Two to four years of relevant experience within a fund management firm, fund administrator or fund accounting function.
Good command of Mandarin is required.
Sound knowledge of financial instruments, including equities, equity swaps, futures and options.
Proficiency in Bloomberg, portfolio management systems and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Experience with Geneva and Broadridge will be viewed favourably.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiastic, adaptable and able to learn quickly.
Proactive and able to work independently, with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrates a high level of ownership, reliability and commitment to responsibilities.
Willingness to work on Singapore public holidays where required due to overseas market trading schedules.
