Vyril is a growing Australian Sales and Marketing services company working with a diverse range of clients across different industries. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and highly proactive SEO Specialist to join our remote consulting team in the Philippines.

This is an opportunity for a technically skilled SEO professional to take ownership of SEO strategies and performance across multiple client accounts.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist with a strong technical background and a proven track record of improving website performance and organic search visibility.

The successful candidate will manage approximately 2 to 5 client accounts at a time and will be responsible for analysing website performance, identifying opportunities, developing strategic SEO recommendations, and implementing initiatives that drive measurable results.

SEO is a rapidly evolving field, and we are looking for someone who stays up to date with industry developments, Google algorithm updates, emerging technologies, and new approaches to search.

This role requires someone who is highly analytical, proactive, organised, and confident in managing multiple priorities.

Key ResponsibilitiesSEO Strategy & Performance

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple client websites.
Conduct SEO audits and identify opportunities to improve website performance and organic visibility.
Analyse SEO data and translate findings into clear, actionable, and strategic recommendations.
Monitor website performance, keyword rankings, traffic, and other relevant SEO metrics.
Prioritise SEO activities based on business objectives, opportunities, and potential impact.

On-Page SEO

Optimise website content, structure, metadata, keywords, and HTML elements.
Review and improve page structure and content for search engine visibility.
Identify opportunities to enhance existing website content.
Provide guidance on new content opportunities and SEO-focused content development.
Plan, draft and (with the support of the Vyril team) upload SEO-optimised content directly to CMS platforms.

Technical SEO

Conduct technical SEO reviews and identify issues affecting website performance.
Review website structure, schema markup, crawlability, and other technical SEO factors.
Work with relevant team members or developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
Identify and (with the assistance and support of Vyril's developer) resolve technical issues that may impact search engine visibility.

Off-Page & Local SEO

Identify and implement opportunities to improve backlink profiles and online authority.
Research and submit to relevant directories, citations, and other opportunities to improve off-page SEO.
Support local SEO strategies for clients with physical locations.
Assist with optimising and maintaining Google Business Profiles and other local search platforms.

Emerging Search Strategies

Stay informed about developments in search, including:
Google algorithm updates
AI-powered search
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)
Identify opportunities to improve how client websites are understood, referenced, and surfaced across search engines and emerging AI platforms.

Reporting & Client Communication

Prepare accurate, insightful, and client-facing SEO reports.
Clearly communicate SEO performance, opportunities, priorities, and recommendations.
Participate confidently in client meetings when required.
Explain technical SEO concepts in a clear and understandable way for clients and internal stakeholders.

Collaboration

Work closely with internal team members, including marketing, graphic design, content, and project coordination teams.
Collaborate with other specialists to deliver effective SEO strategies and client outcomes.
Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve internal processes and client results.

About You

You should be comfortable managing multiple clients and able to independently determine what work should be prioritised and when.

RequirementsEssential

Minimum of 5 years of dedicated SEO experience.
Proven experience managing SEO strategies for multiple websites or clients.
Demonstrated experience delivering measurable SEO results.

Strong schema knowlegde and advanced technical SEO.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits.
Ability to analyse data and turn insights into actionable SEO strategies.
Strong understanding of keyword research and website optimisation.
Experience with backlink and authority-building strategies.
Familiarity with a range of SEO tools, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush or similar SEO platforms.
Familiarity with different Content Management Systems (CMS).
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Confidence and willingness to participate in client meetings.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Highly proactive, independent, and results-driven.

Experience working in an agency or managing multiple client accounts.
Experience working with a variety of industries and website types.
Experience collaborating with developers, designers, marketers, and content teams.
Experience preparing professional, client-facing SEO reports.
