Position Overview:

As an Offshore Accountant, you perform a range of services, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial analysis, and more, using digital tools and communication technologies. Your services will be outsourced to our direct clients where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Work Schedule and Arrangement: 11:00 PM- 8:00 AM PHT, Full time In-Office

Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger by recording financial transactions, accruals, and journal entries
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections
Analyze financial accounts, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions as needed
Maintain organized and accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to address accounting inquiries and provide financial support
Assist with tax-related documentation and compliance activities as needed
Support process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience, with exposure to the full accounting cycle, month-end closing, QuickBooks, and client-facing responsibilities
Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end closing processes
Proficiency in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations
Experience using QuickBooks is highly preferred
Knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and accounting practices is an advantage
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):

Monthly salary of 30,000php - 35,000php (depending on experience)

New hire bonus of 5,000php

Risk Allowance of 2,000php
