Executive Search Recruiter

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced recruiter to conduct initial screening, intelligence gathering, and discovery conversations with private banking professionals holding portable books. This role does not involve candidate sourcing. Candidates are identified and delivered to you separately — your job begins once a candidate is handed to you. Senior bankers above this band, and all client-facing work, are handled personally by the Founder.

What This Role Does NOT Do — read carefully before applying:

No sourcing. You will not search LinkedIn, or any platform to identify candidates. Every candidate you work is already sourced and handed to you.

No engagement with any candidate above the $100M–$250M band, or any candidate flagged senior, MD-level, or Group Head. If a candidate you are speaking with turns out to be outside this band, stop and escalate immediately — do not continue the conversation.

No submission of candidates to clients.

No commercial negotiation of fees, compensation, or offer terms — this stays with the Founder at every stage.

No independent progression of a candidate past the qualification stage described below.

What You'll Do:

Once a candidate is handed to you, your job is to establish five specific things through initial screening, market intelligence gathering, and a discovery conversation with the candidate:

1.Competencies — verify skills, experience, and career history against the mandate's requirements.

2.Book size — confirm the candidate's actual current AUM.

3.Portability — how much of that AUM would genuinely move with the candidate if they changed institutions. This is not the same as book size — a candidate with a large book and low portability is a weaker prospect than a smaller, highly portable one.

4.Appetite for a move — genuine motivation level, not passive interest. Distinguish someone actively looking from someone being polite on a call.

5.Individual or team move — establish clearly whether this is a single hire or whether colleagues would plausibly move with them. Team moves are high priority — flag these distinctly and immediately.

Alongside this, gather relevant market intelligence: recent moves in the market, hiring manager context, interview activity elsewhere, anything relevant to current or future mandates.

Once all five indicators are established and recorded, your involvement with that candidate ends. The Founder takes over from there for submission, negotiation, and everything downstream.

How You'll Work

Every candidate interaction, and the status of all five indicators, logged in Loxo (our system of record) — this is mandatory, not optional, and other automated systems depend on this data being accurate.

Standard suppression rule applies: check last-contacted date in Loxo before any outreach; no candidate contact within 30 days of a prior touch, across all mandates.

Discovery calls conducted via — zoom or teams

Full confidentiality required — you are one of the first points of contact a candidate has with our firm, and discretion in these conversations matters as much as the information gathered.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in Executive Search, Financial Services, Banking, or Wealth Management.

Genuine working familiarity with private banking terminology — AUM, portable book, basis points, seniority tiers — sufficient to conduct a credible discovery conversation with a working banker.

Strong interviewing and probing skills — this role is built entirely around asking the right questions to surface the five indicators above, not just relationship-building.

Excellent English communication, written and verbal.

Comfortable working under strict process discipline — this role operates inside defined boundaries (AUM band, stage limits, escalation triggers) and requires someone who respects those limits precisely, not someone who improvises around them.

Signed NDA required before any candidate data is shared, given the sensitivity of career and compensation information discussed.

You'll Succeed If You Are

Precise and disciplined about scope - knowing exactly where your role ends is as important as doing it well.

A strong listener, able to draw out genuine motivation rather than surface-level interest.

Resilient and proactive within a defined process.

Comfortable with timezone spread across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM UAE Time (Middle East) | 12PM - 9PM PH Time (should be flexible with different Timezones (UK,EU, UAE, SG))

Work set up: Homebased/Remote
