The Omnichannel Partnerships & Activation Manager (Royal Canin) is responsible for developing and executing omnichannel trade marketing programs that drive traffic, conversion, sales growth, and shopper engagement across Royal Canin's digital and physical retail ecosystem.

This role will lead omnichannel activations across key customer touchpoints, manage the online business performance of assigned Hybrid Stores, and support Pet Specialty Retail Omnichannel (PSRO) Channel Marketing initiatives and offline events. The position requires strong collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and external retail partners to deliver a seamless consumer experience while achieving business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

1. Omnichannel Trade Marketing Activation

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and execute annual omnichannel trade marketing plans aligned with brand, category, and commercial priorities
Build customer-specific activation calendars covering online and offline touchpoints
Plan campaigns that enhance shopper conversion, purchase frequency, and customer retention

Campaign Execution:

Lead implementation of promotional campaigns, brand launches, product focus initiatives, and seasonal activations across omnichannel retailers
Ensure consistent shopper experience and brand execution across online stores, marketplaces, websites, social commerce, and physical stores
Coordinate deployment of digital assets, promotional mechanics, product content, and visibility initiatives

Performance Management:

Track campaign performance against KPIs including sales uplift, traffic, conversion, ROAS, engagement, and customer acquisition
Conduct post-activity evaluations and recommend optimization opportunities
Manage activation budgets and ensure effective investment utilization.

2. Manage Online Business of Assigned Hybrid Accounts

Account Growth Management:

Own sales performance and growth of assigned General Accounts online and click-and-mortar business
Develop joint business plans with key retail partners to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Identify growth opportunities through assortment expansion, digital merchandising, and promotional excellence

Retail Partner Management:

Maintain strong relationships with key retailer stakeholders
Collaborate with account managers and retailer teams to secure campaign participation, feature placements, and visibility opportunities
Drive execution excellence for major commercial events and retailer-led campaigns

3. Support PSRO Offline Marketing Events

Event Planning & Execution:

Support planning and execution of PSRO events aimed at engaging Retail Partners
Coordinate with agencies, retailers, and internal stakeholders for event implementation
Ensure events deliver positive partner experiences while strengthening Royal Canin brand equity
Track event performance and generate post-event analysis and recommendations

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with PSRO Channel Marketing, Health Affairs, Sales teams, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Management, Communications, Commerce, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, E-commerce, Omnichannel, Category Management, or Customer Development
Experience working with retail accounts, e-commerce platforms, or omnichannel retailers
FMCG, consumer health, pet care, or retail industry experience preferred
Proven track record in planning and executing trade marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of e-commerce and omnichannel retail fundamentals
Experience analyzing online sales performance and digital commerce metrics
Knowledge of shopper marketing and trade marketing principles
Competency in business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience using e-commerce analytics and retail media platforms is an advantage
