About the Role

We are seeking Inpatient & Outpatient Coding Quality Analyst to join the Shearwater Health team. This is a full-time, remote role, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

Ensure the highest level of accuracy in outpatient coding and clinical documentation to support precise data reporting and optimal reimbursement.
Partner closely with healthcare providers and clinical staff to streamline documentation workflows and resolve coding discrepancies.
Drive continuous process improvement with a meticulous focus on regulatory compliance and clinical data excellence.

Qualifications

Must be a bachelor's degree graduate of BS Nursing with active PRC license or any medical allied courses
Must have an active medical coding certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), OR Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)
At least 1 year of of recent and pertinent clinical/hospital or similar experience
At least 3 years of inpatient/outpatient coding experience
