Job Summary

The Agency Development Officer is responsible for driving agency sales growth by recruiting, developing, and supporting agency partners while strengthening relationships with brokers, agents, dealers, and direct clients. This role focuses on implementing sales strategies, ensuring compliance with company standards, and delivering exceptional partner and client experiences to achieve business objectives.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement sales strategies to grow agency production and expand the agency distribution network.
Recruit, onboard, coach, and support agency partners to achieve sales, recruitment, and profitability targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, dealers, and direct clients to drive long-term business partnerships.
Manage agency concerns, resolve issues promptly, and escalate complex cases when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company sales practices, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
Analyze sales performance, productivity, and market trends to make data-driven recommendations that improve business results.
Conduct product presentations, sales meetings, and training sessions to enhance agency capability and performance.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless servicing, policy issuance, claims support, and overall partner satisfaction.
Monitor sales performance, recruitment activities, and agency productivity against established KPIs.
Prepare sales reports, business reviews, and performance updates for management.
Participate in sales campaigns, business development initiatives, and agency engagement programs.

What You Need to Have

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or any related business course.
Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Agency Development, Insurance Sales, Business Development, Branch Operations, or Relationship Management.
Experience in handling an insurance branch or managing agency channels is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of non-life insurance products, agency operations, and sales management.
Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Customer-focused, results-oriented, and highly proactive with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to work collaboratively across different teams while managing multiple priorities effectively.
