Job Description:

We are looking for a UX Content Designer – Product Guidance & Video Content to create engaging user onboarding experiences, product walkthroughs, in-app guidance, and instructional content that help customers successfully adopt and use LexisNexis products.

In this role, you will design and manage product tours, onboarding flows, contextual guidance, help content, and short instructional videos. Working closely with Product Managers, UX teams, and stakeholders across global teams, you will help simplify complex product experiences for users through clear communication and effective content.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining content creation, user education, product guidance, and video storytelling to improve the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain product onboarding experiences, walkthroughs, guided tours, and in-app user guidance.
Develop help content, user guides, tooltips, knowledge base articles, and support materials.
Create simple instructional videos, screen recordings, animations, or visual content to support product adoption and feature education.
Use Pendo or similar digital adoption platforms to deliver targeted user guidance and onboarding experiences.
Translate complex product features into clear, user-friendly content and learning experiences.
Partner with Product, UX, and business stakeholders to ensure guidance content aligns with product goals and user needs.
Gather feedback and use analytics to continuously improve onboarding and user adoption experiences.
Support feature launches through product announcements, walkthroughs, and educational content.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
2–4 years of experience as a Help System Designer, UX Writer, Technical Writer, Content Designer, or similar role.
Experience creating product walkthroughs, onboarding experiences, user guides, and in-product guidance.
Familiarity with Pendo or similar product guidance/digital adoption platforms.
Experience creating video animations, screen recordings, or instructional product videos.
Portfolio showcasing video animation, product walkthroughs, or onboarding content is required.
Strong writing, content organization, and communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex product features into clear, user-friendly guidance.
Comfortable presenting product walkthroughs and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
