The Live Selling Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the overall live selling strategy across social media, e-commerce, and other digital platforms. This role will lead the live selling team, oversee the planning and execution of live commerce events, develop engaging content, drive sales performance, troubleshoot live technical issues, and strengthen the brand's online presence.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and team leader with a proven track record in live selling, e-commerce, digital marketing, or social commerce. They should be highly creative, sales-driven, data-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable managing fast-paced live environments.

Key Responsibilities1. Live Selling Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute live selling strategies aligned with overall business and sales objectives.
Plan, schedule, and manage regular live selling events across relevant platforms.
Identify opportunities to improve live selling performance, audience reach, engagement, and conversion.
Set sales targets and performance goals for individual live sessions and campaigns.
Monitor live performance and make real-time adjustments to maximize sales opportunities.

2. Team Leadership & Development

Lead, manage, and motivate the live selling team, including hosts, sellers, and supporting staff.
Train and mentor live sellers to improve product knowledge, presentation skills, audience engagement, and sales performance.
Establish performance standards, provide regular coaching and feedback, and monitor individual and team KPIs.
Foster a high-energy, collaborative, and performance-driven team environment.
Manage influencer, talent, or external live-selling partnerships when required.

3. Content Creation & Live Event Planning

Develop engaging live selling concepts, themes, scripts, talking points, product demonstrations, and interactive segments.
Ensure live content is relevant, entertaining, informative, and aligned with the target audience.
Plan promotional mechanics such as exclusive offers, bundles, vouchers, giveaways, flash deals, and other engagement activities.
Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align live selling activities with broader campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
Ensure all live content consistently reflects the brand's image, tone, messaging, and values.

4. Live Event Execution, Technical Operations & Platform Management

Oversee the end-to-end execution of live selling events, from pre-live preparation and technical setup to live broadcast and post-event evaluation.
Manage live selling activities across platforms such as TikTok Live, Instagram Live, Shopee Live, and other relevant e-commerce or social media platforms.
Ensure cameras, microphones, lighting, internet connectivity, streaming software, product links, promotional mechanics, visuals, and other technical requirements are properly tested and prepared before each live event.
Conduct comprehensive pre-live technical checks and ensure all equipment, systems, and platform configurations are functioning properly.
Monitor live broadcasts in real time and troubleshoot technical and operational issues promptly, including audio/video problems, connectivity issues, streaming interruptions, platform errors, product-link issues, and other live production disruptions.
Respond quickly to technical issues during live sessions and implement appropriate solutions to minimize downtime and prevent disruption to audience engagement and sales.
Coordinate with internal IT, platform support, production teams, or external technical partners to resolve complex technical issues when necessary.
Maintain appropriate backup and contingency procedures to ensure continuity of live selling operations in the event of technical or platform-related disruptions.
Coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure smooth, professional, and uninterrupted execution of live events.

5. Sales & Customer Experience

Drive sales performance and ensure live selling events meet or exceed established targets.
Monitor viewer behavior, engagement, conversion, and sales opportunities throughout live sessions.
Interact with viewers in real time and encourage participation through engaging activities and promotional offers.
Ensure customer inquiries, product questions, and concerns are addressed accurately and promptly.
Gather customer feedback and coordinate with product, sales, customer service, and other relevant teams to address recurring issues and improve the overall customer experience.

6. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
Viewership and reach
Engagement and interaction
Conversion rate
Sales and revenue
Average order value
Product performance
Customer acquisition and retention
Prepare regular reports and performance reviews for live selling activities.
Analyze results to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Use data and audience insights to continuously optimize live selling strategies, content, scheduling, promotions, and sales techniques.
Review technical and operational performance after each live event to identify recurring issues and implement improvements for future broadcasts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, social commerce, live streaming sales, or a related field, with at least 1–2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team.
Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Sales Acumen: Proven ability to drive sales, achieve targets, and convert audience engagement into measurable business results.
Audience Engagement: Strong understanding of audience behavior and proven ability to create engaging and interactive live experiences.
Platform Management: Hands-on experience with live-selling and social commerce platforms such as TikTok Live, Instagram Live, Shopee Live, and similar platforms.
Content & Creativity: Strong ability to develop creative live-selling concepts, scripts, promotions, and interactive content.
Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with live-streaming equipment, production workflows, streaming software, internet/network requirements, and tools used to support live broadcasts.
Technical Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues during live broadcasts, including audio/video problems, connectivity issues, streaming software or platform errors, product-link issues, and other live production disruptions.
Problem-Solving: Ability to remain calm under pressure, quickly identify technical or operational issues, and implement effective solutions with minimal disruption to the live selling experience.
Brand Alignment: Ability to ensure all live content and activities are consistent with the company's brand identity, voice, and values.
Customer Experience: Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to handle inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently.
Analytics & Reporting: Ability to interpret performance data, track KPIs, prepare reports, and use insights to improve results.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing product launches, major campaigns, or promotional events through live selling.
Experience working with influencers, content creators, talents, or external live-selling partners.
Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite/Insights, and platform-specific analytics dashboards.
Experience in social commerce, e-commerce operations, or digital retail.
Strong understanding of current live commerce trends, audience engagement techniques, and platform best practices.
Experience managing technical setup and troubleshooting for high-volume or high-traffic live selling events.
