Reporting to Power & Renewable Dept Manager, working closely with regional country offices, global engineering centres and strategic technology partners, the incumbent will support the complete technical sales lifecycle - from customer engagement and solution architecture through proposal development, technical negotiations and project handover - while enabling Yokogawa's transition from automation supplier to integrated energy solutions provider.

Job Description

Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture
Act as the regional technical authority for renewable energy generation, grid integration solutions and Renewable Asset Performance Management Solutions
Support Local Country Offices in developing technical strategies for renewable opportunities
Architect integrated solutions involving Plant Control Systems (PPC), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Microgrid Controllers, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Renewable SCADA, forecasting etc.
Digital Asset Performance Management
Provide technical leadership during customer workshops, FEED studies and concept development.
Develop standard solution architectures and technical reference designs
Customer Engagement
Support sales teams in positioning Yokogawa's renewable and grid control solutions
Lead technical discussions & Conduct customer workshops
Translate customer business challenges into value-based technical solutions
Proposal & Project Support
Support proposal teams in Technical compliance, System architecture, Solution optimization, Cost optimization and Technical risk assessment
Review customer specifications and recommend optimal architectures and Participate in technical clarification meetings and negotiations
Support transition from sales to project execution
Technology Strategy & Partner Ecosystem
Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with strategic technology partners
Evaluate emerging technologies and identify strategic partnerships that strengthen Yokogawa's renewable portfolio
Regional Technical Enablement
Coach and mentor regional sales engineers and proposal engineers
Conduct regular technical training on renewable technologies
Promote knowledge sharing across regional offices

Job Requirements

Masters/Degree in Electrical / I&C /Power Engineering / Power Systems / Renewable Energy
5–15years experience in the Power, Renewable Energy or Utilities sector
Proven experience in renewable energy systems, grid integration and technical solutioning
Customer-facing experience in technical sales, solution consulting or engineering support within a regional environment
Hands-on experience with renewable energy control systems, grid integrationtechnologies, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Plant Power Controllers (PPC)and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Soundhands-on electrical knowledge to design and propose optimized solution
Knowledgeable on Renewable energy generation, including utility-scale solar, wind, hydro and hybrid energy systems
Grid control and energy management solutions, including PPC, EMS, Microgrid Controllers and VPP applications
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), inverter technologies and grid integration
Electrical power systems, substations, protection, SCADA and grid interconnection
Industrial communication protocols and system integration standards
Digital solutions for renewable energy, including Asset Performance Management (APM),forecasting, AI-enabled optimisation and predictive analytics
Cybersecurity fundamentals and architecture
