Job Summary:

The Publishing Officer is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, brand and marketing management, content strategy, and business development efforts of the brand, Esquire Philippines. This position involves strategic planning, revenue generation, and team leadership to drive growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:

1. Brand and Marketing Management:

Develop and execute brand strategies and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
Conduct market research to understand target audience and competitive landscape.
Monitoring brand performance and making data-driven decisions to optimize strategies

2. Strategic Leadership and Collaboration:

Collaborate with senior leadership to set the company's strategic vision and goals.
Help develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the brand's market presence.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and audience preferences to inform strategic decisions.

3. Audience Growth and Engagement:

Help conceptualize and implement strategies to grow and engage the audience across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, social media, and emerging channels.
Utilize data analytics and user insights to optimize content and audience engagement.
Build and maintain audience loyalty through community-building initiatives.

4. Revenue Generation:

Develop and implement revenue generation strategies, including advertising sales, subscriptions, sponsorships, and partnerships.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to maximize advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
Explore and execute new revenue streams to diversify income sources.

5. Content Strategy and Editorial Oversight:

Assist in defining and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and audience needs.
Assist in providing strategic guidance to editorial teams, ensuring high-quality content production.
Foster innovation in content creation, distribution, and audience engagement.

6. Budget Management:

Assist in overseeing budgets related to content production, marketing, and revenue generation.
Ensure efficient resource allocation to achieve financial objectives.

7. Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including advertisers, content partners, and industry associations.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to enhance the company's reach and influence.

8. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and best practices.
Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the organization's reputation or financial health.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or any related field.
At least 1 to 3 years work experience.
Knowledge within media, publishing, or digital content industries.
Strong understanding of content creation, editorial standards, and digital publishing.
Knowledge in revenue generation, including advertising sales, subscriptions, and partnership development.
Knowledge of audience development, engagement strategies, and data analytics.
Proficiency in digital publishing technologies and content management systems.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exposure to financial acumen for budget management and revenue growth strategies.
