Job Summary:

The Field Representative (FR) performs initiatives on revenue and customer relationship,

focusing on increasing kWh sales and customer base, mitigating system loss, and bringing

energy solutions through Certified by Meralco (CBM) and subsidiaries. This position is tasked to

execute Field Orders in a timely manner and resolves all FO-related inquiries using the

information system.

Responsibilities:

Identify customer / segment's needs, issues, and challenges related to power and energy in various customer touchpoints
Gathers information during field work on customer needs and requirements in support of the technical requirements needed to facilitate service applications and other business opportunities
Provide Total Energy Solutions to customers which include both energy and non-energy products and services to ensure continuous engagement with Meralco for value-adding services
Offers value-adding products, customer solutions and cross-selling/up-selling of Meralco's and its subsidiaries services and products

Processes Ordinary Service Applications (OSA)

Executes field orders related to feasibility and inspection of service applications such as, but not limited to new connection, separation of meter, reconnection, relocation/remodel, transfer of service, modification of contract data, change in load/service, and termination of contract
Assesses availability of distribution facilities
Identifies, validates, and receives service application and connection requirements as submitted by the customer in the field
Monitors pending service application on the assigned area of execution
Investigates service application with Service Irregularity cases and/or regular unpaid billing

Provides technical advice and instructions in performing the service application process

PROVISION OF CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE AND AFTER SALES

1. Manage and process Field Orders (FO)

Handles the scheduling and printing of FO
Ensures the timely and accurate execution of FO
Records all actions done as instructed in the FO (i.e. load check, accountability of a service irregularity, period covered, etc.)
Gathers incidental findings and other observations in the execution of FO
Reviews accuracy and completeness of data and information of executed FO and interprets results
Receives and resolves all FO-related inquiries using the information system
Provides inputs by identifying problems and areas for improvement in the execution of FO

DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

1. Provide inputs for segment specific customer content

a. Observes customer behavior and provides input to Team Leader for segment specific customer content

MANAGEMENT OF COMPLIANCE TO REGULATORY STANDARDS

1. Guarantee regulatory compliance on documentary and procedural requirements related to Elevated Metering Centers (EMC) conversion

Participates in information campaigns on identified locations for conversion to EMC
Validates submitted documents (i.e. request letter for conversion to EMC and signed by 50% plus 1 of the affected residents)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of any Engineering Course or 3-year Vocational Course (Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology or Electronics Technology)
Preferably a Registered Master Electrician
Preferably with a Non-Professional Drivers License
Good communication skills
