Business Development Specialist / Manager – Agency & Talent Acquisition

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to expand our live-streaming ecosystem in the Philippines. This role will focus on acquiring and developing high-quality agencies, talent networks, and creators through market outreach, strategic partnerships, and offline business development initiatives.

You will be accountable for agency and creator acquisition, revenue potential, onboarding quality, and early-stage retention performance.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, engage, and onboard high-potential MCNs, modeling agencies, talent networks, and entertainment partners across the Philippines.
Lead the full business development cycle, including prospecting, cold outreach, client meetings, commercial negotiation, and partnership closing.
Build direct pipelines of established and emerging live-streaming creators from the wider digital entertainment market.
Partner with onboarded agencies to develop creator acquisition plans, support talent onboarding, and improve activation outcomes.
Plan and execute offline recruitment events, agency summits, and local partnership activities across entertainment hubs, modeling communities, and campus networks.
Monitor creator and agency performance across the first 90 days, including activation, streaming hours, revenue contribution, and retention.
Identify churn drivers and work with internal and external stakeholders to improve 30/60/90-day retention and content quality.
Maintain market intelligence on agency ecosystems, creator trends, competitor activity, and partnership opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
At least 1 year of experience in live streaming, creator economy, MCN/agency management, digital entertainment, talent acquisition, or business development.
Strong network within the Philippine creator ecosystem, including MCNs, agency owners, talent managers, entertainment partners, or content creators.
Proven ability to conduct field-based business development, negotiate commercial terms, and close partnerships independently.
Strong commercial mindset and comfort working with acquisition, conversion, revenue, and retention targets.
Data-driven approach with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; able to analyze funnel performance and retention cohorts.
Native or fluent Tagalog and strong English communication skills.
Willingness to travel locally for client visits, events, and partnership development.

Experience acquiring agencies or creators from competing live-streaming, social-content, or digital-entertainment platforms.
Experience organizing offline recruitment events, creator programs, or agency-focused partnerships.
Experience working in a target-driven, fast-paced platform or startup environment.
