As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and engage prospective merchants, generate qualified sales opportunities, and fuel our sales pipeline.

What You'll Do

Proactively identify and engage prospective SME merchants through cold calls, emails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline by prospecting across industries such as F&B, Retail, Beauty, Healthcare, Services, and more.
Understand merchants business operations, challenges, and payment needs.
Introduce EPOS POS systems, payment solutions, and value-added services to prospective customers.
Qualify leads based on predefined sales criteria and schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the Merchant Acquisition team.
Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in the CRM system.
Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture opportunities and drive engagement.
Collaborate with Marketing on outbound campaigns and account-based initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience selling POS systems, fintech, SaaS, payment solutions, or merchant services.
Experience engaging SME business owners and decision-makers.
Knowledge of digital payments, QR payments, card acquiring, or merchant acquiring.
Ability to speak additional languages (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil) to better engage a diverse merchant base.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Telemarketing, or B2B Sales.
Experience in outbound prospecting or cold calling is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and handling objections professionally.
Highly self-motivated, resilient, and target-oriented.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) is an advantage.
