As an Assistant Manager - AU Tax, you'll join a pioneer team supporting a global Big Four firm, leading Australian tax, accounting, and advisory engagements across diverse client portfolios. Qualifications

At least 4 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience
At least 2 years of team leadership experience
Experience supporting SME and mid-market clients with AUD5M-100M+ annual turnover
CA or CA-equivalent qualification, either completed or currently in progress
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting legislation, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to review technical work and maintain high-quality delivery standards
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people-development capabilities

Responsibilities

Australian Tax and Advisory

Provide Australian tax and accounting advice and solutions to SMEs, privately owned businesses, trusts, ballot partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and small listed entities.
Develop and apply expertise in Australian tax compliance, accounting, and business advisory services for middle-market clients.

Client Engagement and Leadership

Lead and contribute throughout the full client engagement lifecycle.
Communicate directly with clients through presentations and meetings involving senior stakeholders.
Deliver high-quality outcomes that promote long-term client success.
