In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining development standards, ensuring that the software produced is scalable, performs efficiently, and aligns closely with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the lead supports teams in navigating complex challenges and drives continuous improvement in software quality and project outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the establishment and enforcement of coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business priorities.
Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
Experience with cloud-based continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Strong knowledge of version control systems and release management processes.
Ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
