Job Summary:

We're seeking a passionate Senior Creative Lead to serve as a dedicated creative capability for our client, supporting and delivering their design requirements as an offshore resource available during AEST business hours. In this role, you'll take ownership of creative output across every department and touchpoint, ensuring a consistent, professional and commercially effective brand presence for our client's customers, suppliers, employees and community, while improving creative turnaround, reducing agency reliance and providing scalable design support across brand, campaigns, local area marketing, digital content and print collateral.

Responsibilities:

Brand Management

Maintain and evolve the Middy's brand identity across all channels.
Ensure brand consistency across branches, suppliers, events, campaigns and corporate communications.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines, standards and asset libraries.
Act as the brand guardian for Middy's, Omega Power, M Collection and associated white label offers.

Campaign Creative Development

Offer lead creative direction for national campaigns, promotions and key business initiatives.
Translate commercial objectives into effective creative concepts.
Develop campaign toolkits for branches and suppliers.
Develop creative assets and campaign materials across the Middy's and Omega Power brands, including white label offers such as M Collection.
Partner with marketing teams to deliver campaigns on time and budget.

Local Area Marketing

Create scalable templates for branches and regions.
Support branch openings, trade nights, sponsorships, local promotions and recruitment activities.
Ensure all local marketing aligns with national brand standards.

Digital Design & Content

Develop assets for website, myAccount, EDMs, social media, digital advertising and internal communications.
Support digital teams with customer-facing creative and UX improvements.
Build and support branded email communications, including EDM layouts, campaign emails, supplier-funded promotions, customer updates and internal announcements.
Develop digital design assets for in-branch TV screens and other in-store digital display formats.
Some moving image/animation (motion design) capability valued for digital and in-branch content.

Print & Production

Design and manage catalogues, flyers, POS, signage, merchandise, events and corporate collateral.
Manage external printers and production suppliers.
Must be able to prepare finished, print-ready files for traditional print production (not just digital deliverables).

Template & Asset Management

Maintain editable templates across PowerPoint, Word, Canva, Adobe and Microsoft 365 platforms.
Drive efficiency through reusable creative assets and design systems.
Develop and adapt creative assets for all departments across the business, including internal presentations, operational communications, HR materials, training resources, sales support and customer-facing collateral.
Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence (Atlassian suite) for job/workflow management is highly regarded.
Comfort using AI tools to speed up creative and marketing workflows.

Stakeholder Management

Act as a dedicated offshore creative support resource for the business, accessible during AEST business hours via Microsoft Teams.
Partner with Product, Digital, HR, Merchandising and Regional teams.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders through Teams calls, chat, file sharing and structured creative briefs.

Lead creative direction and high-quality campaign assets delivered on time.

Requirements:

5-7+ years in graphic design, creative leadership or brand management.
Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills (expert level).
Experience across print and digital channels.
Strong stakeholder management and project management capability.
Experience in retail, wholesale or B2B environments is desirable.
Strong catalogue and retail marketing background.
Strong EDM (email marketing/design) experience.
Website and digital campaign asset design experience.
Canva and PowerPoint capability.
Portfolio required, demonstrating retail, trade, or B2B creative work.
Excellent written English and strong self-editing ability - must draft and proofread own work to a high standard. High attention to detail is a non-negotiable requirement.
Microsoft Teams proficiency - team runs on Teams for chat, ideation, and workload/task tracking
