Job Description & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass handling complex KYA processes within the Know Your Asset team, contributing to technology implementation, and supporting procedure optimization to enhance efficiency. You will provide advanced Client support and ensure high-quality Asset Due Diligence experiences for Alter Domus Clients.

Specifically, You Will

Conduct thorough asset due diligence investigations in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Lead complex KYA cases, applying in-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations
Serve as a subject matter expert for complex KYA inquiries
Identify potential risks in asset structures and propose appropriate mitigation strategies
Maintain detailed documentation of due diligence findings and decisions
Support process improvement initiatives and technology adoption within the team
Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement
Assist in developing and refining KYA procedures and training materials to enhance operational effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of KYA processes
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior officers within the KYA team
Assist with quality reviews on team projects and junior officers deliverables
Assist to prepare and present reports on KYA activities to management

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in Financial Services/Fund Services industry, or related fields with strong AML/KYC background
In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and their application
Demonstrated ability to handle complex due diligence cases
Experience with asset data management systems and compliance tools
Adaptability to evolving regulatory requirements and industry practices
Commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and risk control
Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail
Proactive problem-solving and data interpretation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Self-directed worker who effectively supports team goals
Experience in mentoring junior staff members
Willing to work in EMEA shift
