The Accounting Officer for General Accounting is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company's financial records by reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing financial schedules and reports, posting journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, and managing fixed asset records.

The role supports the timely preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports, enabling informed business decisions while ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or other related business courses with a strong accounting background.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, or similar accounting functions.
Experience handling end-to-end accounting processes and month-end closing activities is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Working knowledge of ERP and accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, especially during month-end and year-end closings.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Willingness to render overtime work when required during critical reporting periods.
