The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Data Migration Technical Lead to join our team. You will take ownership of complex, high-volume data migration programs from inception through to go-live. You will work directly with clients to gather requirements, design source-to-target mappings, build and execute migration pipelines, and drive quality outcomes across every stage of delivery. This is a dual-facing position: you will be a trusted technical authority in client rooms and a practitioner who rolls their sleeves up to write SQL, build ETL jobs, and resolve data quality issues.

Technical Delivery

Produce and maintain source-to-target mapping specifications, data dictionaries, and transformation design documents.
Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using tooling such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, or open-source equivalents.
Write and optimize SQL for data profiling, extraction, deduplication, cleansing, and validation against legacy source systems.
Develop Python (or equivalent) scripts to handle bespoke transformation logic and automation tasks.
Execute migration runs, triage failures, and iterate through multiple mock and cutover cycles through to production readiness.
Manage file and attachment migration workstreams

Technical Experience

Delivered multiple end-to-end data migration and ETL projects in complex, multi-system environments.
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for legacy data profiling and transformation, and in at least one scripting language (Python preferred) for automation.
Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise ETL tools: Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, or comparable open-source tooling.
Managed high-volume data loads with an understanding of API bulk patterns, rate limits, and governor constraints.

Nice to haves:

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM data migrations.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake).
Exposure to data governance frameworks or MDM tooling.
Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g. Azure Data Engineer, Informatica).
