Role description:

Arcadis GEC Team – coordinating activities required to produce engineering deliverables. May be required to act as a Line Manager
Technical staff – managed to ensure delivery to time and cost and Client office expectations
Regional office stakeholders – Scope works, estimate budgets, agree project objectives, communicate project status and facilitate resolution of project issues and risks
In a Task Manager role, manage technical staff to ensure delivery to required time, cost and quality parameters
Recognized locally as a technical expert within a market sector

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing technical aspects of larger and/or more complex tasks or components of projects, meeting financial, quality, timeframe and health and safety objectives
Manage the delivery of elements of larger projects in accordance with Arcadis management systems to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets
Typically assigned to provide a controlling technical role on medium size and/or moderately complex tasks in single discipline
Coordinate and manage teams of single (own) discipline engineers and technicians
May undertake a Task Management Role in line with Arcadis Task Manager Academy competence requirements
Work to ensure maximum internal stakeholder satisfaction, championing care and proactively working with internal stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from recognized University.
A master's degree is an advantage.
Licensed Registered Civil Engineer
Possess 7-15 years of relevant professional experience
Working towards Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is an advantage but is not required.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to provide solutions to technical problems and excellent mathematical skills applied in engineering calculations.
Ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegating skills.
Organizational skills and proactive approach in project management.
Highly proficient in the application of international design standards such as: UK, US, European, Canadian, Local Codes.
Highly proficient in structural engineering design fundamentals
Knowledgeable in AUTOCAD, REVIT, Navisworks and BIM environment.
Highly proficient in using engineering software such as: ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, ROBOT, PROKON, TEDDS, RAM Connection, etc.
Programming knowledge using C++, Python, Dynamo is an advantage.
Actively continue to develop personally and technical knowledge and new emerging technology through regular CPD training.
