Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate is responsible in supporting end-to-end AR operations, including invoicing, collections, and AR inbox management. The role ensures timely billing, accurate tracking of receivables, and effective client communication to support cash flow and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Generates and sends accurate sales invoices to clients in a timely manner.

• Manages and monitors the AR inbox, ensuring prompt responses to client inquiries, payment confirmations, and billing concerns.

• Supports end-to-end collections for assigned accounts, including follow-ups on overdue invoices and payment commitments.

• Builds and maintains professional relationships with clients to resolve billing issues and disputes.

• Monitors aging reports and tracks outstanding balances to prioritize collection efforts.

• Coordinates with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Operations) to resolve discrepancies and ensure billing accuracy.

• Documents all collection activities, client communications, and resolutions.

• Supports process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and turnaround time.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of two (2) years of accounts receivable experience for a US company.

• Must have experience working with US-based companies.

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.

• Experience managing AR inboxes or shared mailboxes preferred.

• Experience in the food distribution industry preferred.
