The team is under the Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre. General Ledger is mainly responsible for the month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing of the company's financial records, Statutory reporting and SOX Compliance documentation. The group is expected to have close collaboration with the regional finance, payroll & treasury department, as well as with the other functions in SSC, such as AP/AR/TE & Controlling and Reporting.

Responsibilities

The General Ledger is mainly responsible for Month End/Quarter End/Year End closing of the company's financial records
Execute the relevant finance processing of the General Ledger fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures
Engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues (i.e., AP/ AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting) and business stakeholders (i.e., Regional Finance, Payroll & Treasury), in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
Performed analytical review to ensure achievement of KPIs and PPIs for the specific function assigned
Assist in developing training plans and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications

A graduate of BS Accountancy
With a solid background in General Ledger functions, Reporting or Controlling
With at least 2-5 years of working experience in the same field
BPO or SSC experience is beneficial
Having knowledge of process improvement methodologies is beneficial
Certifications (i.e., CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.) are beneficial

Competencies

With good communication skills, both oral and written.
Problem-solving-oriented
Open and willing to work on holidays as needed and on any shift as may be assigned
With a positive work ethic. Can blend well with different kinds of personalities
With knowledge in using ERP systems
