Audit Associate (Remote -PH | Independent Contractor | US Hours)

Overview

What You'll Be Doing

Support audit engagements from planning through completion
Review and analyse financial statements to identify risks or inconsistencies
Prepare audit workpapers and maintain accurate documentation
Perform testing of internal controls and substantive audit procedures
Collaborate with senior auditors and managers to meet deadlines
Communicate findings clearly and professionally
Stay updated on audit standards and best practices (US GAAP exposure is a plus)

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of audit experience (public accounting experience is preferred)
Strong understanding of audit processes and financial reporting
High attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience working with US clients or standards is highly advantageous

Location: Remote (PH-based candidates only)
Hours: Must be available to work US business hours (required)
Type: Independent contractor (this is not a traditional employment role)
