Job Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

Setup of welders, machine and trouble shoot minor setup problems.
6S activities pre- and post-shift either manual or semi-automatic.
Can perform process monitors (visuals, SPC, sampling test) as per spec procedures task and/or responsibility.
Computer transaction regarding the details of his/her compelled station
Accounting of lot quantities and proper categorization of rejected parts
Be able to decide based on existing specifications and /or criteria
Perform other tasks as needed. Follows and complies with all normal duties and responsibilities, system procedure, flow and standard of operation.
Initiates highlighting of any issues that could affect the safety, quality and/or output during his/her shift

Requirements/Qualifications

Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail
Prior success working both individually and in a team environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to follow written and verbal direction
Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed work specifications
Excellent listening skills
Adaptability to frequent change and improvements
Regular and predictable attendance is essential
Ability to wear the required Protective Equipment
Basic computer, math and reading comprehension skills
You must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
