Position: Finance Specialist (Tax & Accounting)

Job Summary

Global Play Hub Innovations Corp. is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist (Tax & Accounting) to manage accounting operations, taxation, financial reporting, and government compliance. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, EWT, FWT, DST, Percentage Tax, Annual ITR).
Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government agencies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain the General Ledger and perform account reconciliations.
Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Process payroll tax remittances and statutory contributions.
Support audits and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Financial Management, or related field

3+ years of experience in Accounting and Taxation

Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, and government compliance

Experience in preparing financial statements and managing General Ledger

Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and audit support

Familiar with payroll tax computation and statutory remittances

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
