About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Accounting Assistant Manager to support our finance operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in the travel agency or travel management industry, who can handle the technical aspects of accounting processes while working closely with the Accounting Manager on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Accounting Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations
Handle technical accounting processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
Manage and monitor foreign currency transactions and conversions across multiple countries
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Assist in BIR compliance, reportorial requirements, and statutory filings
Conduct benchmarking and financial analysis to support business decisions
Supervise and guide accounting staff as needed
Continuously improve accounting workflows and systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
CPA is preferred but not required
Experience in a travel agency or travel management company is required
At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, with supervisory exposure preferred
Strong understanding of technical accounting processes
Experience handling multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange conversions
Knowledge of BIR regulations and compliance requirements
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized
