About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to support our Australian clients in creating high-performing short-form content.

This is not a basic editing role. You will be responsible for producing engaging Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts that capture attention, drive engagement, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Add high-retention captions, subtitles, sound effects, and trending audio
Apply fast-paced, engaging cuts and platform-native editing styles
Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form clips
Implement strong hooks (first 1–3 seconds) and retention-focused pacing
Take feedback and revise edits quickly and accurately
Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, and platform updates

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in video editing
Strong portfolio focused on short-form content (required)
Solid understanding of social media performance, attention span, and viewer behaviour
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
Experience with After Effects is a plus
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow direction precisely
Comfortable working remotely full-time (AU hours)
