Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Manager to support our finance leadership team and contribute to the continued success of our department. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (including BIR regulations).

- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support strategic decision-making.

- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets.

- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational efficiency.

- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting a high-performance culture.

- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

- CPA certification is a plus.

- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and general accounting principles.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects efficiently.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Experience in a leadership or project management role is a plus.
