We are looking for a dynamic and experienced legal professional to manage the organizations legal, litigation, contractual, and regulatory matters. The role will involve handling end-to-end litigation, drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements, providing legal advisory to business teams, coordinating with external counsels, and ensuring that the organizations projects and operations remain legally compliant while minimizing legal and contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end litigation matters across various forums, including RERA, Civil Courts, High Courts, Tribunals, and other relevant authorities.
Draft and vet legal notices, complaints, replies, written statements, rejoinders, appeals, petitions, applications, and other legal submissions.
Monitor ongoing litigation, court/authority proceedings, hearing dates, case status, and legal timelines.
Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, and counsels for effective management and resolution of legal matters.
Develop litigation strategies in consultation with senior management and external legal counsel.
Handle customer disputes, contractual disputes, recovery matters, property-related disputes, and other civil/commercial litigation.
Manage RERA registrations, compliances, filings, and proceedings as applicable to the business.
Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on agreements, contracts, MOUs, lease agreements, sale-related documents, vendor agreements, consultancy agreements, and other commercial contracts.
Identify contractual and legal risks and recommend appropriate measures to protect the organization's interests.
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on business transactions, projects, contracts, approvals, notices, disputes, and other legal matters.
Handle legal matters relating to real estate projects, land, development, construction, approvals, documentation, and customer transactions.
Assist in title due diligence, property documentation, and review of title-related legal documents.
Liaise with government departments, regulatory authorities, and other statutory bodies as required.
Ensure timely compliance with applicable real estate, corporate, contractual, consumer, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain proper records of litigation, contracts, notices, legal opinions, and other legal documentation.
Support management in assessing legal exposure, potential liabilities, and dispute-resolution options.
Work closely with Projects, Sales, Finance, Commercial, Procurement, and other business functions to provide timely legal support.
Ensure timely escalation of critical legal issues and matters involving significant financial or reputational exposure.
Travel for court hearings, authority meetings, site/project matters, and other legal requirements as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience

LL.B. from a recognized university; additional legal qualification will be an advantage.
10+ years of relevant experience in legal, litigation, contracts, or real estate legal functions.
Experience in real estate, infrastructure, construction, or corporate legal environments will be preferred.
Strong experience in civil/commercial litigation and dispute management across multiple forums.
Good understanding of RERA, Consumer Protection laws, property laws, contract law, and other relevant real estate regulations.
Strong legal drafting, contract review, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Experience in managing and coordinating with external advocates and law firms.
Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and documentation skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple legal matters and work within tight timelines.
Willingness to travel for court hearings, authority meetings, and project-related requirements.
