ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join us as an individual contributor.

You will consult with affluent parents seeking undergraduate admissions support for their children and professionals exploring Master's programs abroad. This is a consultative, high-trust sales role involving premium services and considered purchase decisions.

You will personally own assigned prospects from the first conversation through consultation, follow-up, closure and payment collection. This is not a team-management position and does not currently include direct reports.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Revenue and Closures

• Achieve assigned monthly revenue and enrolment targets.

• Personally convert qualified enquiries into paid CollegePass clients.

• Maintain a healthy pipeline of expected closures.

• Improve conversion rates without relying on unnecessary discounting.

Consultative Selling

• Understand each family's or applicant's goals, concerns, timeline and decision-making process.

• Conduct structured discovery and consultation calls.

• Recommend the appropriate CollegePass program based on the prospect's requirements.

• Explain the value of long-term admissions advising clearly and credibly.

HNI and Parent Engagement

• Build trust with affluent parents making an important, high-value decision for their children.

• Communicate confidently with discerning clients who may be comparing multiple advisory firms.

• Address questions about outcomes, service quality, advisor expertise, timelines and pricing.

• Maintain a professional, composed and consultative approach throughout the sales process.

Objection Handling and Negotiation

• Handle objections related to price, competing consultants, timing and the perceived ability to complete applications independently.

• Differentiate CollegePass based on value and fit rather than criticising competitors.

• Identify the real reason behind hesitation and move the prospect towards a clear decision.

• Follow the approved pricing structure and commercial policies.

Follow-up and Pipeline Management

• Follow up consistently through phone calls, WhatsApp, email and video consultations.

• Create a clear next step after every meaningful prospect interaction.

• Re-engage interested prospects without using repetitive or overly aggressive follow-ups.

• Prevent qualified opportunities from becoming inactive due to weak follow-up.

CRM Discipline

• Keep every assigned lead, interaction, call outcome and next step updated in the CRM.

• Ensure every active prospect has a scheduled activity.

• Maintain accurate expected-closure dates and sales projections.

• Avoid overdue activities and unidentified or neglected leads.

Reporting and Market Feedback

• Provide accurate daily and weekly pipeline and closure projections.

• Report recurring client objections, competitor feedback and market insights.

• Collaborate with admissions and operations teams when specialist input is needed during a consultation.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Performance will primarily be measured through:

• Monthly revenue achievement

• Number of paid enrolments

• Lead-to-enrolment conversion rate

• Speed and quality of lead response

• Follow-up effectiveness

• Accuracy of sales projections

• CRM completeness and pipeline hygiene

• Adherence to approved pricing and sales processes

WHO SHOULD APPLY

We would like to speak with candidates who have:

• Demonstrated individual sales and closing experience

• Experience selling premium or high-value services to individual customers

• Confidence engaging with affluent families, parents, professionals or senior decision-makers

• Strong spoken and written English

• Consultative discovery, objection-handling and negotiation skills

• The ability to build trust without becoming overly aggressive

• Strong follow-up discipline and personal ownership of targets

• Experience using a CRM to manage leads and activities

• Comfort working independently in a target-driven environment

Experience in education, EdTech, admissions advising, financial services, real estate, premium hospitality, luxury services or other high-consideration B2C categories may be advantageous. However, proven closing ability and client judgement are more important than industry background alone.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

• Working days are Tuesday–Saturday.

• Tuesday–Thursday and Saturday are work-from-home days.

• Friday requires working from the CollegePass office in Bengaluru.

• Candidates must live within a practical commuting distance of the Bengaluru office and have a suitable home-working setup.
