This surge can be credited to the region&rsquo;s increased emphasis on upskilling initiatives. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/retail-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Retail<\/strong><\/a> (+47%) sector witnessed a remarkable surge in online hiring demand, driven by heightened demand in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/e-commerce-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>e-commerce<\/strong><\/a>, which has led to an uptick in demand in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/purchase-logistics-supply-chain-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Logistics<\/strong><\/a>, Courier\/ Freight\/ Transportation, Shipping (+19%) as well.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Holding steady:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BFSI (+1%), Engineering, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/construction-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Construction<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/real-estate-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Real Estate<\/strong><\/a> (+1%), Production\/Manufacturing, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/automobile-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Automotive<\/strong><\/a> and Ancillary (+3%).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Facing challenges<\/strong>:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/it-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>IT<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/telecom-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>Telecom<\/strong><\/a>\/ISP (-19%) sector continues to face a significant reduction in hiring activity, marking a decline.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Consumer Goods\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foundit.com.ph\/search\/fmcg-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>FMCG<\/strong><\/a>, Food &amp; Packaged Food (-13%), and BPO\/ITES (-2%), sectors also register annual downturns.
