According to the latest Monster Employment Index (MEI), the Philippines recorded 6% annual growth in online recruitment between January 2016 and 2017
The BPO/ITES sector recorded the steepest growth in online hiring activity at 22% year-on-year, whereas the Engineering, Construction and Real Estate sector recorded the sharpest fall at -6% year-on-year
Software, Hardware, Telecom talent were the highest in demand with 25% growth year-on-year, while Health Care talent saw the steepest annual decline at -4%
