Online Hiring in the Philippines Declines -31%

The Monster Employment Index (MEI) Philippines witnessed a slight improvement in
annual online hiring activities between July and August 2015, despite the negative
growth at -31% year-over-year this month.
The IT, Telecom/ ISP sector registered the highest annual growth at 10%, while the
Production/Manufacturing, Automotive and Ancillary industry fared the worst at
-62%.
Customer Service jobs continue to see the biggest year-over-year growth at 9%,
while Hospitality & Travel jobs experienced the greatest fall at -55% year-over-year.
